Biography

A theater and cinematographer, he is an artist from the first generation in theater, Egyptian and Arab cinema, born in Cairo, January 8, 1905. In 1925, he also worked with the great artist (Naguib al-Rihani) theatrical troupe from 1930 to 1935, and he performed with him on stage plays including (The Egyptian Pound in 1931) and the play (Qaraqosh Ruling in 1935) and others .. After that he worked with the Band (Ismail Yassin) the play and toured with him in all the governorates of Egypt, and his plays with him include the play (The Woman’s Corner in 1955) and the play (The Ball with Bulbul in 1957) and other plays. He also acted in the cinema many films, including the social and the comedian, through which he presented many From beautiful roles.

The artist (Mahmoud Lotfi) died in Cairo on March 9, 1975, and was also buried in Cairo.
